Coffin Nails

from Fake Fur by Bungler

/

lyrics

I pushed some paper for a couple of years.
Coffin nails to shift my fears.
Nothing but drying happening in my bones.
Bent up.
Tension.
Pull apart by the sort.
A ten year meant for someone else,
That ended up in court.
Roses grow, but the grass is dying.
But I can see the offering.
A séance, ending endlessly.
I could take some faulty matches,
Burn some holes in all of my shoes.
I try to strike it but my hands won't move.
Lost all the vices that kept me wide awake.
Now all my dreams are made of partials and fakes.
Pushed some paper for a couple of years.
Coffin nails to shift my fears.
Nothing but drying happening in my bones.
Bent up.
Tension.
Pulled apart.
